Jamaica is the birth place of many musical genres, from Reggae to Bashment and Dancehall. There is no limit to the amount of success and talent the country has to offer the music industry, up and coming artist ‘Jah Frozen’ is the next big thing to come from the island. Growing up with a Reggae playing father, Jah Frozen had an early introduction to the music industry. Consistently putting out music he is slowly gaining a following and fan base.

His first release since being under the management of ‘Nanimus Music’ a management and promotional company is the single ‘Life’. The video is filmed in a more remote location of Jamaica which fits the theme of a stripped-down song with a message. Filming in both urban and rural areas we get an insight into the creative vision of the song but also the realties of his current life situation managing to find the perfect balance in the video. The video is able to reflect what a normal life in Jamaica is like, walking through the markets in town and children playing football, we can relate to someone or possibly everyone in the video.

Jah Frozen’s song is all about trials and tribulations of life, he talks about over coming negative situations and persevering through it all. He sings ‘the greatest thing in life is life, lets move forward make things right, every little thing will be alright’ his message is clear along with his delivery. Promoting a positive message within his music has been a consistent theme through his earlier work and hopefully that doesn’t change anytime soon.
